Flowers

I have a lot of fun pictures to post and events to talk about (Brady turning 1, Audrey's last day of school, a little "idol" performance by the kids) but our Mac is full and I can't load any more pictures until we fix it, boo hoo!  I'm hoping this will be fixed in a day or so.

For now I am going to post pictures of flowers.  I do not have a green thumb but absolutely love flowers.  In Calgary every spring I would turn to my sister-in-law, Sandra, for help in the planting department.  She would tell me what to buy and on a few occasions even plant them for me.  I LOVE having flowers growing in the yard but have never really learned all there is to know about gardening.  I have decided to pick up a few books in this area and learn so that I feel like I know what I am doing (since Sandra can't go to the nursery and guide me).  When we bought the house we had all the bushes trimmed back and we had no idea what was going to bloom when the time came.  We have been happy with what has arrived and I have even been able to have fresh flowers in the house for the past month or so which I love.  Some of these plants may be replanted and we need to do a lot more landscaping but right now the kids and I are just happy when we go outside and see a flower blooming.  I know the pictures are a bit boring but at least it is a new post, right!

I wish you could smell these!

The roses are nice but as you can see we have a lot of work to do in the back!
