Pilgrims and Indians

When I went to pick up Carter and the carpool kids I was greeted by these happy pilgrims and one indian. The kindergarten classes have been preparing for a Thanksgiving feast which was held on Friday. They were able to make their own costumes and help to cook muffins and make butter and pudding for the event. It was so much fun to listen to their thanksgiving songs and watch them munch on some food with their classmates. It was a great way to to kick off the holiday break.

Carter finished off his soccer season with a team pizza party. I think the highlight of each year for him is receiving his trophy. He is so proud and grins from ear to ear when it is handed to him. He immediately comes homes and adds it to the others lined up on his dresser.

The final cheer

This past weekend was a rainy one so we took the opportunity to organize and get a few things done in doors. The kids are off for the week so we are looking forward to having some fun with family and friends coming to town for Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for!
