Finally summer has arrived. We have been treated to some great weather over the past few days. We all hope that the rest of the summer is equally as warm and enjoyable.
There hasn't been a lot going on since the last post. Audrey is almost done with school...next week she graduates from kindergarten. She had an assembly today and her class had to perform
in front of the entire school. Audrey did great!

Dad, Chuck and I ran in the
Cochrane Footstock 10K race the other weekend. You don't think that 10k is a long run until you actually have to run it. I have to admit that I went in unprepared and got my butt kicked by my old man and younger brother. Incentive to train for the next race. It is fun to be part of a big race and to feel the
excitement while running. The race just about killed me though. I felt like I was going to die at the end of it. I actually crawled (as a crowd
pleaser) across the finish line.....even though that is how I really felt. I got a good laugh out of most people and a confused/worried look out of the rest of the people watching the runners cross through the finish gates. The pictures are in the order of who came in first, then second and then a distant last. Good job dad and Chuck.

This last picture is for Grandma Cheryl. Lisa wanted me to take a picture of Carter in the jacket he wears to church. He is funny about it...he won't let us put him in a golf shirt, or shirt with out putting on a tie and jacket to go along with it. He is turning into quite the character.

Dave!!
Nice job on the 10K. A few measly k's on the WCT should be no problem.
