3-2-1-Blast Off!

Ok...we are back with an update. A ton of stuff has been going on since we posted last, but Lisa and I are too lazy to download the pictures from our camera......so you get stuck with WCT Bound for a month or so until our memory card on the camera is full and we are forced to do a download. I really need to invest in a bigger memory card.

The kids have been having a great time now that the weather is nice. They have spent hours outside in the backyard playing with the water rocket. Carter is working on his golden boy tan and Audrey is always looking to splash someone with water.

The kids also went to the Childrens Festival downtown Calgary with Grandma Cheryl while she was here on her visit. The weather wasn't the best, but it was good enough to make some awesome visors and get their faces painted.

We spent the weekend down in the Cardston/Waterton area. It is always a good time to go to Waterton with the kids. Lots of wild life...they could spend hours throwing rocks in to the lake. We went with the Ruggles....it was their first time, so we tried to show them all the fun spots. The weather was rainy, then clear and hot, then rain again....regardless we had a great time walking around, throwing rocks, getting our feet wet in the freezing water and spending time with the Ruggles.

I got a new tent for the West Coast Trail the other day. I have been so anxious to go on the camp that I couldn't help but try out the tent with the kids in the living room. It worked great! The kids had the best time "living room camping". I can't say the I slept very good that night because I had two little critters rolling and kicking me all night, but it was good to see that the tent worked. I promised the kids that we would go camping in the back yard or out at grandma and grandpas place soon, so I will give the tent a real test run then.

Audrey graduated from Koday level 2 today. I went to see the final presentation at Mount Royal College where the classes are held. She did great and so did her classmates. You could tell that she really enjoys signing and learning how to keep beats etc...good job Audrey!

Late last month we were able to make it down to Taber to see Grandma Alice leave on her mission to SLC Family History Centre. It was great to be around the family and see Grandma before she left. Audrey loves Grandma so much. She is always talking about her and loves the fact that Grandma made her a beautiful dress for Aunt Stacey's wedding. We are so excited for Grandma Alice and her new adventures. We know she will be a great missionary!

This picture is funny to me. It proves that the bigger the kid the bigger the bowl of cereal.

Amigos del Norte,

I can't believe how big Carter is getting. I was enjoying not being the shortest in the family but i guess that won't last for long. At least Jaden is still a shrimp. Nice work on the tent Dave!
