October was packed full of fun from beginning to end. Take a look and see what we've been up to!
The month started out with Cara and Joe's wedding. As I already mentioned, it was a wonderful day. I am still trying to track down pictures of the reception. I'll post them when I get my hands on them. We were able to spend time with family that came into town for the big event. It was great to see everyone!
A week after that I was lucky enough to be able to go on a Girl's Trip with all the ladies in Dave's family (except for Jess - we missed you!). We met in Kauai which was a dream!! For one full week I got to swim, snorkel, enjoy the beautiful scenery, try to surf, take morning walks along the coast, RELAX and best of all spend time with some of my favorite people. I even got to swim with a few turtles so my trip was complete! THANK YOU so much Wendy for inviting us!!! You did so much and it really was the greatest! Thanks Nena, Stacey and Sandra for a wonderful week! Thanks to my Mom for watching the kids during the day and a big THANKS to Dave. He really had the whole Mr. Mom thing down. I came home to happy children and a spotless house!!! Your the best!
Our roadside fruit expert Bea!
Sandra and Stacey are both expecting and due a day apart in June! Congratulations girls!
Our playground for the week!

The view of Wiamea Canyon
The "Girls" of the trip - the reason the trip was extra special!

Brady was so excited. This was the expression he had most of the night. He loved the bright orange pumpkins, chasing bubbles and looking at the animals.

See you in a few weeks Mr. Turkey!

Our Ward had a Trunk or Treat on Friday night. It was a lot of fun to see everyone dressed up and there were some great decorations in those trunks!
In N Out staff along with the frog prince
Poor Carter is hard to see in this shot but it is the only one of us all together.
Chef (recycled costume - not too original), In N Out Cook, Princess and the Frog and our Fireman
This family went all out. The hatch would occasionally close half way and they had sound effects. Too cute!
This was our trunk (we ransacked Mom's decorations for the evening). Cara and Joe look great after their honeymoon don't they?!? Or is that Matthew and Brooke all dressed up?!?
On Halloween Audrey decided to switch into a Jasmine costume and they were ready to trick or treat. It was really fun to go around our neighborhood. There were children everywhere. It was neat to see all the decorations. There were even a few haunted houses. Carter hung back with me, but Audrey went through. She came out of one a little sad but she had a great time. Dave and Brady stayed back and handed out candy. Dave said Brady was so cute. He would stand in his costume with his had straight out with a piece of candy. When the kids came to the door he would drop the candy in their bag and without turning around, reach his hand into the candy bowl to give the next child a piece. He loved it!
It was fun to be able to decorate the house. After seeing what other people did I have a bunch of ideas for next year.
