A Few Gems from the Archives

Recently have been working on a DVD project that was supposed to be a small, quick project. After spending countless hours scanning pictures into my computer I realized that I have created a monster and that it was not an easy task.

In loving memory of El Morro, a.k.a. "The Beach Trailer", I decided to make a DVD of all the pictures taken of when we were at the trailer with friends and family. I was totally amazed at how many pictures we have taken over the years of parties, holidays, kids, sunsets, etc, etc,. while at the trailer. I also was a bit concerned that the DVD was going to be a bit lop sided because I have a million pictures of Lisa, Cheryl, Audrey & Carter, but none of the rest of the family (I guess that shows who spent the most time at the trailer). I came to the conclusion that if I was going to make a DVD I mind as well include everyone so that we can all share the memories.

CALLING ALL HEYMAN'S, BROWN'S, REED'S, AND MILLER'S! If you have pictures that you would like to include in this DVD please send them to me asap! I would hate to make this and then realize that I only have one picture of Doug, none of Jaden, a few of Roger, three of Mike, and hardly any of Grandma and Grandpa Reed. I only have a couple of Chris Reed and his family. Everyone needs to be represented, so please help spread the word to those who may not read this blogg frequently or at all and inform them of my quest for pictures. I don't need any pictures of sunsets, or of the big rock cliff facing South of the trailer......I have enough in my own albums to make a feature film. I would like to finish this project in the next month, so please send anything you may have to me asap. Feel free to mail them via post, or email to dave@saundersgroup.ca or to lisa at l.saunders@telus.net .

It has been fun to go through all of the pictures that we taken over the years. I found a couple gems that I wanted to share with you. I guess this will be the sneak peek to the DVD. I hope that Cheryl doesn't mind me posting pictures of when she was a bit younger and sassy. I love Matt's awesome dance moves. That evening of karaoke was a blast!

Dave, I'm speechless-great post! I decided to check the blog and was expecting "Mush,Mush" (while great, still a day or two old) and lo and behold I found this! I have some photos to contribute-I'll work on rounding them up and spreading the word. Great idea, producer Dave!!

I know I have more trailer pictures before the kids, so they would be of everyone else but we can't locate them. Sorry, but I know that Grandpa would have a ton. Probably too many to ever round up, but maybe some oldie but goodies of Chris and Dad and Mike or even of all the cousins when we were young. It's going to be a great video.....especially these of Mom in her hot swimsuit!!! Love it!!

Good thing mom doesn't really know how to get here or she might see herself in her hot swimsuit posted on the web :)

I think the video will be fun. It won't be a Mike Miller production or anything, but it will be best a MAC computer can make. I am excited to see the pictures come in.
