Catching Up

I was looking thru some pictures this afternoon that were taken during March and April of this year. I realized that I haven't posted many of them, so for the benefit of the friends & family members who don't see us a couple times a week I thought I would post the pictures so that they could enjoy.

Lisa took a cake decorating class and this is one of the gems that came from it.

We have been going to Bakers Park (next to Bowness Park, on other side of the Bow River) to go bike riding and walking. They have a nice little path that the kids like to test their peddling skills on. Carter thinks he is actually riding the trike, and Audrey does a great job leading the charge down the path.

We went to the cabin recently with the Ruggle family. It was a quick weekend away, but the kids had lots of fun taking nature walks, throwing rocks in the lake, and picking dandelions. It is always a fun time out there regardless of how long you can stay.

I found this picture and thought it was funny. Audrey started taking swim lessons yesterday and is becoming ever more brave in the water. Carter on the other hand is Captain Aqua Man, he loves the water. There is nothing stopping him from dunking his face, splashing everyone, and pretending he is swimming in the big tub. When we take him out of the tub it is like we are struggling to get a 100 lbs shark out of the water. He puts up a good fight! I think he is more slippery than an actual fish.
