Good times at Scorpion Ranch

I just got back yesterday from my kayak trip in the Channel Islands. It was a great time with friends. The weather was incredible, the sites were amazing, and the adventure was fun. The caves that we went through were often times huge with massive ceilings, and other times they were so skinny you couldn't use paddles. It was not a trip for the claustrophobic.

Here is Ramsey, Brad and myself on the boat ride over to the island.

This was the quick orientation they gave us on how to navigate through the narrow passage ways.

This blow hole was amazing. When the water level rises with the swells the water shoots out of the hole at around a 40-50mph speed. At times it was amazing to see how much water would actually fly out of there! This is a shot of me getting ready to line the front of the kayak up with the hole so that I could feel the power of water and air rushing out.

Here is a group shot with the guys who went on the trip. I am on left side with Brad and Ramsey.

Another group shot with the guys.
