my pictures for some reason. I finally got it working today. After reading Jessica's blog the other day about baptisms I thought I would put some baptisms pictures up of my own. I have been spending countless hours scanning all of my mission pictures into .jpg format over the past few days. I was over at Jess & CJ's last night putting them into a DVD format for the missionary prep class I have to teach this Sunday. It has been fun to go through all of my pictures only a little depressing because I realize how much weight I have put on in the past 10 years! I also know that I have more pictures out there that I can't find for some reason. I hate loosing things, so it has been a spur in my side for a few days now.
I hope that the presentation I give to these boys on Sunday somehow inspires them to want to serve a mission. We have a big group of young men who will be entering into that stage of their lives very shortly. There are a couple that are rock solid, and a couple that are wishy washy. It would be neat to see them all go.It has been bitter sweet around our place around 11:00 pm for the past few nights. Carter has thrown up twice in the past 2 nights while sleeping in his bed. It is bitter because you gotta feel bad for the little dude when you come in his room and his face is covered in puke. But is has been sweet because he has been so cuddly and "tranquilo" as they say in Spanish. He will just lay on your shoulder and snuggle, which is something that he never would do otherwise. I hope that he feels better soon and doesn't have any more puke face washes any time soon.

Poor Carter. I remember one night Dahl threw up after about 1 hour a sleep. Then I realized I had given him rotten milk. I felt really bad.

Really cool photos! I think those boys will be inspired by your lesson and your constant example. :) Hopefully Carter gets better soon...at least he didn't drink rotten apple juice?
i love the photos to dave, not every missionary has such interesting and poverty stricken photos. and to think you came back alive and not sicker than a dog. cool!!!
